Requirements for positioning accuracy of CNC lathe.

CNC lathe

The positioning accuracy index controls the accuracy of the actual position to be achieved when the moving parts of the lathe move from one position to the expected position. The error between the actual position and the expected position is called the positioning error. The positioning error of the tool holder and other parts with periodic indexing motion is reflected as relative displacement error, and its positioning accuracy is called indexing accuracy. If the moving parts of the CNC lathe are repeatedly positioned from one position to another, the maximum error between the actual positions reached by each positioning is called the repeated positioning accuracy of the moving parts. The geometric accuracy, transmission accuracy and positioning accuracy of the lathe are generally measured without cutting load, and the CNC lathe does not move or the movement speed is low, so it is generally called the static accuracy of the CNC lathe. The static accuracy depends on the manufacturing accuracy and assembly accuracy of the main parts and components on the CNC lathe, such as the spindle and its bearing, screw nut, gear, bed, box, etc. The positioning accuracy generally includes: linear motion positioning accuracy; Repetitive positioning accuracy of linear motion; Return accuracy of linear motion mechanical origin; Positioning accuracy of rotary motion; Repetitive positioning accuracy of rotary motion; Return accuracy of rotary zero point.
